CHALET
MORCLAN

We spent four days at Chalet Morclan and can honestly say that it exceeded even our high expectations. Petit Chatel is a beautiful, peaceful location with spectacular views, yet still has access to shops, markets and great restaurants. The chalet itself is welcoming, stylish and well-equipped. We really enjoyed having such a comfortable and cosy space to relax in when we weren’t out hiking or touring some of the lovely Alpine villages. Being close to Lake Geneva is another feature of Chalet Morclan and meant we were able to combine the charm of the mountains with visits to the lake and all that it offers. We would highly recommend a stay in Chalet Morclan for couples, families or groups of friends. This is a really special place and we will definitely be back!(J&J, June 2017)

Chalet Morclan proved to be the perfect place for a family birthday celebration. With its warm and cosy dining/sitting area, comfortable furnishing and a fabulous view over the valley to the mountains beyond it created a great atmosphere. It comes with a well equipped kitchen, games & DVD’s, local information and, if you really feel the need, WiFi. We had a wonderful time! (P & B, J & G, H & T, Jan 2016)

Having arrived home late last night (after a blustery drive through France and SE England) I thought I'd drop you a line to say that we had a great three-week stay in your chalet, and very much enjoyed it. For most of the time we were very much 'under occupied' but we had seven in the chalet for a few days and we felt very much at home there. You have a lovely property in an excellent location. (J & family, Jan 2016)

Not just a place to stay for the ski season, this chalet is wonderful in the summer too. There is plenty of space and everything you need, a comfy sitting room to relax in and lovely balconies for taking in the amazing views. We spent a very relaxing week with friends, walking and exploring most days, and then coming back to the chalet to cook a meal and watch some of the many movies available to us, play board games or just chat over a glass of local wine. There is plenty to do locally - lots of great walking, cable car rides, the spa, and mountain biking for the adventurous. We were able to buy everything we needed for our meals in the town and tried out some local food in a restaurant or two as well. Further afield, spent a great day at Mont Blanc. All in all, a great place to stay. (J, M & M, Aug 2015)

We spent a wonderful week in Chalet Morclan. The views every morning were spectacular and Chatel itself has a great range of ski options for all abilities and all you could need for your stay. The chalet itself had everything we needed and more. Lots of room, very clean and tidy, a well-equipped kitchen and parking close by. It was very quiet and the extensive DVD, game and book collection was well used after a long day on the slopes. We would whole-heartedly recommend the Chalet to anyone looking to stay in Chatel. You will not be disappointed. (R, L, F & J, Mar 2015)

The chalet is superb… what a tremendous selection of DVDs and books, perfect for a couple of non-skiing days. Likewise the resort, which was great for off piste! We skied from Linga or Pre la Joux mostly, by catching the bus or driving. We found these areas offered good links and good pistes plus off piste/between piste stuff! The food from Delicious Liaison was also very good – it makes such a difference after a day’s skiing to just be able to pop something into the oven. (C & T, T & M, Feb 2014)

We had a simply wonderful time in Châtel and your chalet is very nice - very well equipped and stylish - I can see us returning. (D, N & family, Jan 2014)

We had a fabulous time and loved the easy comfort of your chalet - many thanks for all the extra touches. (A, Dec 2013)

The chalet was very comfortable and more than adequately equipped with everything we needed. The DVD, game and book collections were extensive and would have kept us entertained for months. (M, C & family, Dec 2013)

Really enjoyed our week at chalet Morclan. A lovely clean, warm, comfortable chalet with all home comforts and lots of thoughtful extras such as a good range of DVD's to relax and watch after a hard days skiing. The chalet is well situated for the ski lifts and ski bus. The non-skier in our party found plenty to do and we enjoyed hiring snow shoes and exploring the hills behind the chalet. The view from the chalet is stunning - we'd love to book it again, maybe in the summer next time round. (G, L & family, Feb 2013)

A lovely place to stay, I'm not a fan of skiing in the winter or hiking in the summer but this is beautiful place to keep a relaxation seeker happy. (H, Feb 2013)

We loved our stay at Chalet Morclan! The chalet has wonderful views and is only a short walk from the delightful village of Châtel. We’ve been twice – in September, we could walk straight out of the chalet on long day hikes, either picnicking or sometimes stopping at a mountain restaurant offering excellent food. When we were there in the winter we found it convenient for Châtel’s ski slopes but also ideally placed for accessing the whole of the Portes du Soleil area. This is a splendid place to visit any time of year! (R, M & B, Sep 2012)

We spent a lovely family summer holiday in Chalet Morclan. We loved the chalet and Châtel. The area is beautiful and my favourite time was waking up every morning and looking at the view of the village, the hills and the mountains beyond. We had fantastic weather in August to enjoy exploring the surrounding area by foot and by car. It is a short walk from the chalet into the village for buying food. The chalet itself is spacious and fully equipped with fridge/freezer, washing machine etc, as well as plenty of games and DVDs to keep the children happy. We have no hesitation in recommending the chalet. (A, I & family, Jul)
